Completed the Wonderland Trail

My gal pal, Julia, and I completed the ~95-mile Wonderland Trail, circumnavigating Mt. Rainier on July 11, 2014. We arrived back in Longmire after setting out on July 1, one day ahead of schedule. There was a lot of snow and a lot of sunshine, and we had a lot of challenges and a lot of fun. Luck would deliver us no rain, relatively low snow levels for so early in the season, a chance encounter with Tami Asars (author of Hiking the Wonderland Trail), plenty of wildlife sightings, and an opportunity to help others enjoy the beautiful scenery around Mt. Rainier.
